Meet the Teacher

Hi, I'm Charlotte! My piano journey began at the age of 7 and has grown into a passion for both playing and teaching. I was trained in classical piano and theory through the Royal Conservatory of Music.

My passion as a piano teacher is in providing beginners a strong musical foundation that will help them grow into more advanced pianists. In my 9 years of teaching experience, my goal with every student has been to nurture a love of piano that will provide them a lifetime of enjoyment and fulfillment through music.

My Studio

I teach piano lessons out of my home in Evanston, NW. I specialize in teaching beginner to intermediate-levelled students, accepting students ages 5 and older.

My Method

My approach to teaching is fun and personalized. I emphasize progress over perfection, while working hard to ensure my students have a strong foundation in technique and theory fundamentals. I also emphasize the development of artistry and performance by hosting two recitals every school year.

I teach mainly using the Piano Adventures method. The integration of theory and technique into the main lesson books, along with an extensive supplemental library at each level, makes this my preferred method to teach from.
